For Matt, teaching music has proven to be just as rewarding as performing it. With over 25 years of experience in both taking and teaching countless music lessons, as well as collaborating with various musical groups, Matt has developed a clear and effective teaching approach. This approach has consistently been successful for students of all ages and skill levels.

Online Lessons

Online lessons provide a convenient solution for students with demanding schedules or those who live too far for in-person sessions. These lessons are available via Zoom or FaceTime, requiring only a reliable internet connection and a web camera, which is typically built into most computers.

In-Person Lessons

Matt teaches from his home studio in Forestville, CA. This thoughtfully arranged space creates the perfect environment for immersive and focused music lessons.

Rates

Rates are the same across the board for any of the instruments and subjects offered, with the exception of recording sessions. The rates below include other student services such as transcribing songs, restringing guitars and ukuleles, and tuning drum sets. Rates are subject to change.
